and you can feel the weight. In 3.0 (auto) form, it has adequate power, but is an extremely nice cruiser. In 2.7T (auto) form, it still feels heavy, but because the cabin is so well insulated, you don't feel the speed but it is a fast car. In 4.2 (auto only), it is even heavier, but it is also deceptively fast. I cannot, however, fault the Quattro in putting the power down to all four wheels. Saab really should have a AWD sedan somewhere in its lineup.
If it isn't for the reliability problem of, mostly the 2.7T and the electrical system, the A6 would be a very nice all around family sports sedan. I actually would have opted for a slightly used 4.2 but whoever in VW/Audi decided the car didn't need a three point seat belt in the rear middle seat should be fired. I would even go for a used A8 but the thing is just too darn big for my wife to terrorize the neighborhood :-).
So I got the Aero instead.
