Took the Car to the Dealer Today...

I took the car to the dealer today and he said this is not uncommon, to have the engine turn off while the car is running! He says he has to replace some kind of chip (possibly the ECU - don't remember). I definitely didn't hit the key in the ignition, and neither did the three kids because they were all in the back seat. I did try to start the car in neutral, but couldn't. It finally started - very weakly - after about 3 tries in the start position. When I told my husband, he said the same thing happened to him a few weeks ago while driving alone, but it wasn't scary because he was able to just coast to the side of the road and restart the car. Then he forgot about it. This is a frustrating car to own because I love driving it, but it has more problems than any other car I've had (this is the only serious one, though). I'll let you know what happens.
