So I guess I was correct in accurately reporting what I had seen. Seems SAAB and their oil labeling have issues of what the true ingredient mix might be and to what level ACEA it is.
As for oil analysis, I have tested oils in the past--way before you ever got a SAAB. The fleet manager at a fortune 500 company here assisted me by noting that it's the comparative numbers from analysis to analysis that are most meaningful. One of the most watched orn otable items he would watch for seemed to be increased levels of silicon--- which could mean a bad engine air filter or an air leak allowing dirt into the oil...He didn't have much use for "virgin oil" testing
