I'm using 4 quarts of German Castrol 0W-30 in my SAAB 9-5 Aero.
Maybe it's time to change my handle back to "Jason" !
I think you already know the engine config?? High output, 2.3L turbo-four, about 20 psi of boost max. 5 speed manual. Bone stock except for the Hyperboost BPV.
SAAB oil filter, Fumoto valve recently installed.
I'm gonna run the GC about 5,000 - 5,500 miles...
I've got all sorts of "experiments" brewing--
My brother's car (3.0L V6) is running Rotella T Syn 5W-40. (recent A-Rx)
My dad's car (2.8L inline-6) is running German Castrol 0W-30. (recent A-Rx)
My mom's car (3.0L inline-6) is running Mobil 1 0W-40.
My cousin's car (2.5L inline-6) is running Mobil 1 5W-30.
Plus I have a 4L jug of Delvac 1 on standby.
Also, they're gonna release a new Mobil 1 5W-40 soon!
