One thing I have mentioned before about my use of EBC Green Stuff (GS) pads is their benefit when pulling higher loads. The EBC GS pads have NO fade compared to the Saab OEM pads. I replaced the original pads using the original rotors at about 50,000 miles. The GS pads made a significant difference when stopping with my 2,000 lb trailer and all but eliminated fade going down mountain grades. At about 110,000 miles I replaced the original rotors and put on a new set of EBC pads. I used EBC Sport Rotors. The improvement going through the mountains in North Carolina this summer was significant. The Green Stuff pads must be warmed up a little before they are effective (a couple of city blocks).
