"Me" focused, yea, I resemble that remark. Ever meet a successful salesperson (at least I was a success last month) without an ego? I have a lot of fun on these BB's defending Saab from all of you considerate, sensitive, well thought out folks.

I don't see a little realistic decontenting and cost cutting as the gloom and doom of GM's influence on Saab. As a Saab salesperson I think it is actually the most exciting times ever for Saab. Except for the 9-5 Aero, Saab has lowered prices and/or added content, like the 9-5 Arc with the extra horsepower and bigger brakes, or the new lower priced Linear SportWagon, and the 9-3SS sedans and convertibles are a much better value than the 9-3SE before it with more features galore!

I re-read your post and my post and what got me going was your mention of "the principal" as somehow I had missed it. My response, I thought, characterized that realisticly , if slightly unflattering, and I tried to paint it with a broader pro Saab, pro GM, brush.

I am enjoying the dialogue with you and I always take to heart the criticism that I should listen better to my customers.
