Thanks. I have read that the often referenced Mr. Goldberger uses "green" coolant with 24 month intervals also. In this case, I just wanted to top off the coolant that was already there and in so doing, didn't want to CREATE a problem by mixing two things that shouldn't be mixed. Having only purchased the vehicle a couple of weeks ago, I will still be faced with the decision of what to use the next time I change the coolant. From reading the many posts on this topic, it does leave me with the impression that regular changes are the most important thing. Having owned numerous Volvos (currently a 96 850 Turbo 97K and 92 940 198K), this is my first SAAB. So far, I am highly impressed and glad we made the purchase.
