I'll bet you've already look into this but how's the CIS injection system? Did you replace the injector seals? You might consider monitoring
the Lambda pulse ratio while you drive. In the past I've run a wire from the Lambda connector and used a dwell meter sitting on the passenger's seat. I'll bet you'll find that you're running too lean at part throttle. At 2500rpm and not accelerating there is a relatively high vacuum in the intake manifold. It's possible that you have a vacuum leak that is only showing up when the engine is warm. Your warmup regulator could also be causing you problems?
I've used BG44K with success and it's supposed to clean out deposits. Another technique to clean out the crap is to squirt small amounts of water into one of the vacuum hoses while the engine is around 2500rpm. The guys who are running water injection often comment on how clean their combustion chambers are.
As a long shot have you tried disconnecting the vacuum advance and driving around?
I'd monitor the pulse ratio since it's only way to isolate if the problem is with the fuel or ignition system.
Todd
