I would place dynamat on the floor near the wheels, since thats where most of the noise tranfers up, the rest of car is very well insulated, if you do the roof, and its not perfect (i've seen it) it may have a funny bulge, and may sag (may, not saying it is gonna, but it could). Buying tires with a good noise rating (many sites list that in their reviews) will help also. Dynamat in the hatch would help a little if you experience a lot of noise from there, i had a little bit of rattling when the car is heavily jolted on bad roads, so i placed a few pieces on the sides between the wheels and the bumper, and the lower part of the tailgate, it helps significgantly, and helps absorb some road noise, and keeps my subs from vibrating a little bit.
