I did mine three years ago or so (see, I've already forgotten the pain) with an $85 fabric kit from Trollhattan Motors in Baltimore, MD. Came with two cans of 3M super trim adhesive spray and several yards of material. I also paid $125 for the stock saab gray sunroof liner (which took all of 10-20minutes to install...easy!).
Only tip I would say for the self install is get two more cans from Trollhattan when you order the kit....I used almost four cans because the instructions say to double coat the headliner support and spray the headliner...since it's contact cement you have to let each coat dry on each piece and then roll/press them together. The key is the double spray on the headliner...I don't think the private shops double coat the headliner and the adhesive can fail in heat/outside environment once in the car.
Don't forget to do the quarterpanel trim in the back under the headliner!
I did all the headliner and trim pieces, also had enough fabric left to do the door panels (even though the headliner is gray, the OEM door panel fabric is beige/tan...the panels are now the same grey as the headliner). After I did the headliner I left the entire headliner pan and trim panels in the basement for a week to dry out the solvents in the adhesive...prob didn't have to, but driving the car sans headliner didn't bother me too much (it's boomy as heck, but so what) and when I put it together it didn't stink of solvent.
