When I asked Steve-mechanic about the hooter valve during the initial inspection he laughed and said he invented and originated that name for the p____________valve. I forgot the proper name he gave me. He was very curious as to where I had heard that from. I said I read it several times on the internet. "Don't forget to check the hooter valve!" He laughed again and said word must have gotten around because that came from him joking around one day. Small world or am I just way to gullible? He never did tell me if it was good or not.
Who knows maybe he is popular. I just hope he does not say to me one more time "You got to trust me." Isn't that like how I got into this trouble in the first place!! I did trust him to search for things like this and degrease the areas he was working on like he said he was going to do. He said he didn't degrease until afterwards on a common area problem for cracks. To light the fire would be easy, that's exactly what the carsalesman kept saying! Trust me trust me, sigh... chin up... I know a lot more than I did before.
I am going to labor hours perhaps days in search of a good welder who can hopefully do it with the engine in the car. Thanks again. I would have never thought of that. Nanette
