Sean,
I've never had a 900CVT, but having had other SAABs, I'd suggest you count on at least having the coolant flushed and filled as a precaution (and replacing thermostat--it's a wear item).
Engine belts may be on their way out, if they have been neglected and are original, I'd have them replaced anyway, as well as upper radiator hoses (thermostat to radiator, good time to do this is at flush/fill above).
Brakes, depending upon previous owner(s) driving habits, may need attention. At best, nothing wrong (of course). At worst, new pads & rotors. Again, as a precaution, I'd have the brake fluid replaced (bled) to keep the ABS pump healthy with clean fluid.
1992-4s will have SRS (airbag), as do 1990-on 900s, and they require service after 10 years (what, I'm not exactly sure, that's just what the driver's door sticker on Mom's '90 says) so that's something to keep in mind, too.
Others may chime in with more (pertinent to CVs) items to keep in mind; I'm fresh out of ideas. Hope this helps!
