should have done unless you get receipts for the work. New belts, new hoses, new thermostat (82degree one if you drive a lot in traffic or warm/hot weather) matching 82degree sensor in radiator. Have the brake fluid flushed and filled, have the cooling system flushed and filled. Make sure the brakes are wearing their pads evenly. Put the top up and down a few times to ensure everything moves evenly and the windows don't interfere with the weather strips. Check the top for wear marks above rear side windows - not a major problem but you could knock off a few dollars just by pointing it out. Make sure the door windows mate/align properly to the rubber edge of the rear side windows. Lift the rear seat and check the fluid level in the top's reservoir and for leaks. Make sure all the lights and indicators work - I'm not sure if there are still 2 dimmers on the 1992-1994 models!. Check that the fan comes on really fast at the LARGE ARROW position (it overrides the fan speed setting). If cold enough make sure both heated seats work (passenger's only works if someone is there!). Check all the drains, bottom of doors, inside trunk, in front of rear wheels. Drive the car and stomp on the brakes, does the car stop squarely, does one wheel lock up. Try the handbrake - put it on and let the clutch out, does it hold? Are the tires good or do they have uneven wear or chunking? Check the door and trunk locks do they work properly? If the alarm is present is it active and does it work properly, if not active ask why. Check for cracks on the dash and peeling of dash surfaces. These are all (mostly) standard used car tips but all are valid for any Saab! Good luck and yes, you will find yourself driving it whenever you can!
