Don't know how it was converted. Went in for alt bushings a few years back and Indie talked me into new hoses at $180 "because they all go at this age" plus R-12 recharge. Then the "new" hoses burst at its crinped seam the next day. I yell at the indie and he relaces the hose and he converted to 134 because "we ran out of 12 and it won't be here for a few days" . I figure he fixed the hose the cheapest way possible since he wasn't getting paid. Follow ups to question the whining compressor went ignored so I dropped the guy - he services the cars of the rich and famous around here who can afford his mistakes I guess. His style is to jack up the sunroof and repalce everything else.
Is there a way to pull a vacuum for a DIYer?
Thanks
