One thing you may want to do on general principles is replace the pilot bearing. To do that, you need to remove the flywheel. Pulling the flywheel, replacing the pilot bearing, and remounging the flywheel adds about 1/2 hour to the project. On most of the parts cars I've looked at, the pilot bearing could not be turned by finger pressure. Shifting may well be easier for you if you replace it.
When I did my clutch a couple of months ago, I didn't resurface the flywheel because there weren't any burn marks, scuffs, or significant ridges on it.
