I did a pressure flush then... at the time i couldn't find the correct plug on the engine block (that with sticking my whole head in engine area!)
When i get close to doing the task again i'll hook up with a fellow Saaber beforehand and ask them to point out the specific location so i can do it right next time.
I am looking for a new local mechanic (unless i can talk to my prior one about having him do the labor on parts i've obtained myself) but unfortunately Jim is a little far from me to use as a "local guy". He's a little more than an hour away, which is a little far when you're having car troubles, as well as having somebody follow you there and take you back again to p/u the car... any chance he's near public transportation (NJ Transit train/bus).
As for my current losing coolant situation, i'm going to monitor the level after i just refilled it, as well as pop the hood with the engine still running a few times after a long trip to see if there is steam coming from the cap area (or i'll just add it onto a parts mail order if i need anything in the near future, but hopefully i'm done for a bit after my ball joint repair this weekend).
I appreciate you replies and help.
