Yes a 92 900 n/a 2.1 will have a crank sensor there and a aperture disc on the balancer. I think the reference to the 88 and 89 is that the mounting holes for the aperture disc were different and on those cars you need to replace the aperture disc when you do the crank pulley. I always order a new aperture disc just in case and return it if the one I have fits on the new balancer. Also I would probably change the crank sensor itself because of the some of the other parts your changing to save future labor. And because it is the outer ring of the pully that seperates on the balance it is not the aperture disc eating the the pump cover. Inspect the cover closely. Good Luck. Bernie.
