I screwed up when i was typing, i was talking to someone else at the same time.
my car is 92 900s, no SPG, its N/A (2.1 liter engine, 16 v)
from what I have found so far, one retailer says that the reference aperature disk is only for the 89 and 90. I'll keep looking around to try to figure that one out, but I'm not sure if my car has a crankshaft position sensor.
The scraping doesnt seem to be so deep that its going to structurally mess it up. I'll check when I pull the plate off.
I do plan on replacing the oil pump seal, and the o-rings, why not?
I think im also going to replace the water pump, and the AC idler pulley while I'm in there. Parts are nothing compared to the labor of ripping it all out.
