I agree.
Here in Australia, wheel alignment shops cringe at the idea of being asked to align C900's. That's one reason why it's a pain to tweek these cars. I had a real big hassle trying to get w/a shop go back to some vague resemblence of saab alignment after discovering the car I now have,('93 C900i), had the alignment of a generic GM product over here. I'm stuffed how it got to have so much negative camber. It had poor centre feel, felt like it was pushed into a corner and once into the corner, if pushed hard enough, would snap into oversteer. I've done ball joints, tie rods, shocks, bushings, f & r, installed sway bars...... It was upon a chance discovery of a small one man suspension shop that he took a look and got things close to normality. He adjusted it so the toe-in was not so aggressive and applied a small amount of positive camber with a full tank of gas and a heavy toolbox in the boot to mimic more rear load. The steering is now more consistant, actually 'turns in' into a corner but still can snap into oversteer when one is aggressive at the wheel. So it's still not right but the tyre wear is even with a hint of outer scrub if the drivng gets spirited.
Tim will eventually have his own experience to enjoy but for me i'd rather the sharpness of the EMS I used to own.......(sigh)
