that essentially was my next step with an ammeter. I've already given it a quick open terminal resistance check while pulling all the fuses that I know of. I've got a better multimeter now, but a light would be more visual. We'll give your test a go.
I know the trunk light isn't the culprit, but my antenna mast has a kink that sometimes keeps it 6 inches from retracting all the way. The motor shuts off though, would there still be a drain.
I just had the battery charging for 2 days out of the car. Installed it, drove it yesterday, and today it's dead again. I doubt if the couple minutes diagnosing the seat heater with the power on last night would have drained the supposedly good batteryy.
