Ha! I just got a voice message from the customer loyalty department! Hmmm... Do I really want to express my feelings right now??? Do I have the spare time? Probably not...

My thought was to get a second opinion and cut my losses with the dealer at the $400 I have dropped on the brakes. Just to give an idea of how stubborn they might be on this, their very first comment was "If we find it's a different line, of course we will have to charge...". Of course the lines are a few millimeters apart at the firewall and the fitting is totally obscured... so this would be an easy claim to make regardless. The original repair bill was to "replace right side brake line" they are the ones that pointed out the leak was by the firewall. This last visit was really just a test, and I think they failed pretty hard already.

On the expansion valve, they had pointed to the diverter last year as a possible coolant leak and I replaced it. Maybe they ment the coolant overflow tank??? Then they could say the slow leak by the firewall is coolant? Well anyway, the A/C expansion valve by the fan is a bit scummy... what is the test for that valve? Can I just take it out to see if I still have the minor coolant leak? Not that I asked them to check for coolant leaks... Not that they even topped off my coolant...

The real question is: How do you get FOUR ball joints??? Anybody want to venture a guess at what they ment there? At the very least, they either suffer from vaguarity or double vision!!!

The funny thing is that I am actually pretty happy with my 900 at this point. I have replaced most of the high-wear issues and the car runs well at 200,000 (sans a few minor leaks). After owning the car for three years, the repairs actually seem to be leveling off.
