yes, I was thinking the voltage should read more like 13.5vdc or > than while running, but it's only reading about 12.4vdc, sometimes less than 12vdc. Also, I checked the replacemnt alt at saab yard on their tester, it put out nice 14vdc on the bench, but that's with no load. Brushes looked fine, but got a new regulator from eEuroparts today, and will replace tonight. I'm starting to wonder if grn/wht wire is faulty somewhere down the harness so I am going to replace what I can of it as well. Then I'll run thru the alt. tests in the Bentley. I pulled the fuse on the radio already last night and no change was noticed, but I am pulling the radio out to view the wiring connections there as well, radio is not that old, but installation quality of it is unknown since I didn't install it, maybe something there? I'll update when I find it. Thanks!
