A/C doesn't work so I don't use it. I assumed both fans would come on only when the a/c is running. But they both run at the same time whenever the temp gauge rises.
I don't notice if the fans are running while cruising on the highway, but they do run when driving slowly and sitting still. However, even during uninterrupted cruising at highway speeds in the cold winter, the gauge always stays at the 1/2-way mark.
If the 1/2-way mark is okay for normal temp, then I won't be concerned. It was from reading some of these posts where others speak of coolant temps in the 1/3-way position that I thought mine was running too high.
