im not sure what all you had replaced but the first thing that popped in my head was your coil.
if going bad it is boost related and temp. related but this is the most obvious item to replace in your symptoms and im giving your mechanics credit that they did replace this. note the brand of coil you have (it must be bosh)
so the next step would be fuel pump, its characteristics are similar to the coils but this was replaced, so lets move on.
pop the hood of your car look at the distributor notice the wire plugged into the side of the distributor.
now start the car, with the motor idling go to that wire that runs off the distributor and shake it.
if the motor stumbles you found the problem.
stumbles as in the slightest loss of power.
one thing i should mention.
being the time frame the motor runs bothers me, a distributor that has had the rebuild kit used on it can have the symptoms you described as in how long it will run. but it is not heat related, after 2 to 3 min. the inside of the distributor is as hot as the sun. a bad rebuild cause this the hall to malfunction. the odds of this are slim
