Bad Hall sensor, buy known-good used Distributer???

Just wanted to make sure that the only way to solve a bad distibuter problem is to buy a "known good" used one. No Venders are selling Distributer Rebuild kits for 1990-1993 16 valve 900 turbos cars anymore. They still sell rebuild kits for the 8v model I believe, but that won't help me as mine's a 16 V model, and I don't want to get into "modifying" and 8v version to fit my 16v model. So since Saab oem and eeuroparts and the like are completely out of stock, the only thing to do is buy a used one. Any other recommendations? Anyone? How much should a known-good used one cost and what might be book time for the installation including readjusting timing? Thanks in advance, My Hall sensor is dying and I need to get moving with this project. My original Distributer has over 200K miles, they say that was a good run for an original distributer, any comments on how long they last? Appreciate all ideas!
