Hi Ray,
I'll look at the pedal hole and see if it has elongated or not.
So far, I have only seen one side of the old yolk slightly elongated.
It does not look like it is necessary but can I assume I do not need to remove the pedal to get to the works with my snap ring pliers? I was planning on using the right angle attachment that came with the pliers.
Oh yes, blood rushing to my head position. I usually sit in the front seat backwards and swing my feet up to the head rest and slither the rest of my body down so that my head is pretty much right under the MC.
As fate has it, I threw away my old MC with a perfectly good yoke on it. *grimace*
I also no longer have the luxury of a garage.
I had AAA tow my Saab to a quiet neighborhood street.
I do not know what I dread and fear more, the dripping brake fluid in my mouth, the unknown mechanic or the scary movie auto wreaking yard. lol
I'll get back to you once I find my new Saab mechanic, used yoke and a clip/clip substitute.
Sigh, I love my Saab more and more each day,
Thank you,
Nanette
