Another idle question

I purchased a 1990 900S about a month ago and have been working to correct the numerous issues any neglected 18-year old car is bound to have.

When I first got it, it would barely idle, hot or cold. I've cleaned up/repaired the ground points, cleaned/tested the AIC, cleaned/tested the air mass sensor, and replaced the vacuum lines/fittings. I've also replaced the throttle position sensor and the oxygen sensor as both tested faulty per the diagnostics in the Bentley manual. I've also replaced the plugs, cap,and rotor.

The car runs noticeably better now. I'm still experiencing a rough idle, but only after the car warms up. The idle is fine when I start the car in the morning (It was minus 9 degrees F last night. The car started right up and idled perfectly). I'm thinking it's likely that the water temperature sensor (or the wiring to or from the sensor) may be faulty. I tested the resistance of the sensor a couple of weeks ago and thought it was within spec, but plan to double check this today.

Finally, my questions.

If the sensor resistance tests out within spec, is there any sense in replacing it "just in case" or should I look elsewhere for the problem? Have any of you had a sensor that tested ok, replaced it, and found it to be the problem?

If the water temperature sensor is not the problem, are there other components that any of you would consider "likely suspects" for a rough idle after the car warms up?
