...like a wheel stud on some cars, and probably have a splined exterior that presses down into the steel plate they poke down through.
Use a bright flashlight and you I think can see at least some of these. Round flat heads, nothing to grab with a wrench.
So, you could in fact probably drill it out and then replace with a Grade 8 bolt and nut. I think you could get down in and get a socket on the head, at least for some of these.
Or maybe pound one up and out of a junkyard car, and pound your stub out and replace it. (If your car is rust-free enough to take the pounding - - it's a fragile area on some 900s.) I don't think there's material enough there to trust tapped threads, I think it just comes down through a plate that's a little thicker than the body sheet metal.
