Sorry to say the topic like that . But this is serious to me.

My car is a 9KCSE . I brought it new and it performs very well when it perfect.

Anyway , I have had some night-mare with this car.

At 145,000 km , the engine make a very terrible noise from accelation but not when cruising.

It was found that the Main Bearing and Con Bearing had gone. I've to pay for that job as an Overhaulling job for about $2,000 at dealer.

That time , I have to say that was a very terrible case for me since the car is very well cheked and maintained in the dealer every 10K Km and using of 100% synthetic oil all times. Changing all parts as commented by dealer. The car never go up to 5500 rev and no heating problem previous the problem at all.

Cause & Countermeasure from that failure still unexplored til now.

After that , at 165,000 km (only 20K after the first failure) . No , it was not produced a terrible sound again but there was lacking of power in higher band ( above 4000 rev)

After checking by the dealer , there was a bend (I don't know whether it is a correct word) Piston Rod of the third cylinder. OK , a s I hit the car harder and more frequent. But again , it never pass through 54-55 K rev. Normal period of oil changed and no obvious culprit before problem. It remains mystery for me agian except those $450 cost to pay for.

The Third ( Finally ?) , it just TODAY , while I drive it on motor way at the speed aroud 180-190 km/h (rev 45-47 K rev) as ever. I sense the car is slowing down althought I still hit the padel. And suddenly , there is a terrible noise from the engine again as the rev go.

I suddenly stop the car and check. There is no oil lacking , No coolant lacking , normal engine temp. But very low Oil pressure at idle! So I shut down the car. Unfortunately ,I don't know this lacking pressure came on when because there is no Oil Pressure light came on at all (Althought it is in "on" position when stop the motor. I could see that very low from the honest VDO Gauge on the console show that below 10 PSI at Idle.(That must drive the OIL LAMP came on if it is normal)

No obvious trouble at the rotational part and so on around the engine.

So, I call the dealer to give me a mobile help. This car is now towwed to the dealer again : (((((

Anyone , please give me some advice what is happenning with my car this time

A broken Piston or bye-bye Bearing agin ???

I'm not sure now I should continue using this car or rip it out ???

Huhhhh.
