very cheap. I thought maximum around $25 / person / day for a high vocation education mech.
But at the dealer , they charge as one Overhaual Job ( If it has to do anythings below head gasket) at $400. Whatever to change in the engine.
No conclusion about failure of the bearing. It seems to be only mystery for mine since it is only one 9000 in the dealer that has this problem as you mentioned. Other than that they always traced back to be an overheating problem before if it has this type of failure.
