This forum is great for exposing everyone's opinions and experiences. I've done post-mortems on 2 blower motors though - mine and a friend's - and they're pretty cheap motors for the application (in my opinion). They're a common failure item, and from my experience, and what I've seen of the motors, they just can't be expected to last too much more than 100 K miles. 120 to 125 K seems to be reasonable for life expectancy. It wouldn't be a problem if they weren't so hard to replace. Not impossible, by any means, just expensive when you pay someone else to do it.
