... TCS (Traction Control System) was standard on 93 Aeros, and it can be problematic. It sounds like you will be at the mercy of others to do any work on the car, so if you go for this car, you should be prepared for some pretty steep shop costs. I've outlined some previously, but the TCS is a big question mark, and it could be expensive. It can be fine, or it can be hell. In your situation, I would have to recommend the Toyota or Honda. After you get through with graduate school, you can buy a nice, new Aero. I hate to discourage anyone from buying a Saab 9000. But I hate even more to see anyone get in over their head. You asked for honest opinions, and this is mine. I might take some heat for it, but so be it. I love these cars, just as everyone else on this board does, but I know that a 93 Aero with 120-ish K miles presents some challenges that can get quite expensive to those who don't do their own car work. It comes down to a decision between lust and practicality; you make the call.
