You know, i own a 1990 9000s and have driven many first gen 900's, and every first gen 900 rolled substantially more than my 9000. maybe it was condition of those cars, but if i dive into an apex the 9000 would, after initial turn in, always seem to make it through a corner alittle quicker than a 900. again, maybe its the 900's ive driven, and im not commenting on the GM900. I dont think any saab is built cheaply and will say that they are all substantial, safe cars. i have heard 95-97 reliablity issues with the newer 900's, mostly as a result of financial issues at saab. anyways, just my two cents...my 9000 is a fun car, and i a teenager. any saab will be better in almost every aspect (not repair costs though) than any american or japanese car save late model acuras and lexus's.
