So its getting fuel, but I assume not spark. CPS is one possibility, but you need to see if the tach bounces to diagnose that.
Very possibly could be the DI, but you're a bit off in what you mentioned in your post about it. When the DI craps the bed, thats it. You get a new one and your good for another 50-70k miles. Problem solved. Eventually it will fail again. Its a vicious cycle what that thing. Only way to test it is to pop in a known good one and see what happens.
Theres no MAF sensor on this car, the Trionic system itself uses ionization across the plugs to determine the amount of air entering the engine, which is what a MAF does. When was the last time the plugs were changed or regapped?
As for the other little sensor items, I have no idea...but good luck and let us know what happens tomorrow.
