many cars have long since been in a wrecking yard somewhere, or if they're running, they look and feel like crap.
how many cars can you go and buy at 150K plus and have a great car that will please as much as a 'new' car.
i have to keep reminding myself every time some little noise pops up, or i have to replace a part, that my 9000s have over 150K miles and ten years of who knows what kind of use.
seals go on all cars, at all ages. bent rims happen. i looked at a 93 CSE turbo and it had a gas leak i found (owner didn't know about) coming from around the tank, wonder if there's a weakness in the mold.
i've noticed the crack that's showed up my 'new' to me 93 CSE radiator is almost duplicated exactly by a hairline mold mark in my 92 radiator which isn't cracked, at least yet. i wonder if the molds were bad and the radiators crack along this weak point??
anyway, i guess i'm saying, we shouldn't be surprised when our cars need work, they're old (relatively) and well used
if it was a 2004 saab, you'd have a lemon!!
