Hi Eric
I drive a 9000 without TCS but I want You to know my problems with silicon hoses on vacuum lines. I replaced the old and hardened lines with softer siliconic, getting nothing but engine hesitation at idle, on deceleration above all. Thrashing all and coming beck to heavier black rubber lines cared any hesitation and engine stallation at idle. (I ignore the reason; maybe due to the thin wall thickness silicon lines, except where expressly requested, couldn't allow for high depressions, then collapsing and choking.)
SAAB created my (and YOURS) car with simple rubber vacuum lines; with just inexpensive rubber lines mine runs, smoothly, again.
Hope this helps.
Tiziano
