Safety first: before you do anything under the car, get yourself a pair of jackstands to place under the car after you jack it up and at least one wheel chock (more is better), an angled piece of 4"x4" wood will do nicely to hold the rear wheels in place. DO NOT TRUST YOUR LIFE TO ANY JACK, especially a $20 cheapie, there are countless stories of jacks collapsing on top of people. You can buy a usefull set of two jackstands for about $15 - 20. DO NOT TRUST THE PARKING BRAKE, one side may not be functional but the handle stops at the proper point due to the other side working properly.

For raising the car, set parking brake, chock the diagonally opposite wheel, jack one side, insert a jackstand at an appropriate point, then jack the other side, insert a jackstand at an appropriate point. For jack stand support points, refer to quasimotors.com webside that has a diagram and pictures - the floor pan itself is not strong enough to hold the weight of the car.

For other non-standard tools that you will need, be sure to get:
1. an 18 mm open end wrench - needed for the front (rear) bushing - this is not a standard sized wrench, is contained in very few sets.
2. check that your socket set includes a 16 mm socket, again not standard in most sets - needed for the top nut of the tie rod ends if I recall, many other bolts on a 9000. Note that a 5/8 inch socket will probably work fine if you have one, that's what I use.
3. 21 and 22 mm open end wrenches to remove the tie rod ends from the tie rods.

I'll let others go into comments on the procedures.
