The AC compressor won't turn on if there is no refrigerant - the low pressure switch will keep that from happening. If you run the AC long enough, does the fat line from the compressor get cold and the warm line get hot? If so, the AC is working. One less thing to worry about.

If the cabin fan isn't running, you'll get little or no heat, and won't feel the AC. Step one is to get the fan running. Assuming you've checked the obvious (fuses), the problem is either the fan or the fan controller. The fan controller ISN'T the ACC unit - it's mounted on the case of the blower motor. If you can access the fan motor connections, try hooking up 12 volts (FAT wires - lots of current!) If the fan motor spins, then the problem is likely the controller. The transistor in the controller has been known to die.

In your case, you can just swap controllers. Lucky guy. Just make sure the fan works, or you'll kill the new controller.

Quasi also has a nice write-up on the heated seats. The problem is that the heating element in the seat can break (usually on the front/outside edge of the seat bottom). Broken element, no heat. Once they break, folks usually don't fix them, so both end up not working. The check is pretty simple - move the seat forward and check the continuity at the connector with a meter (fat yellow wire on pin 2, fat black wire on pin 5, connector on the far left (driver's side seat)). If you don't get close to continuity - about 2-5 ohms - the wire is broken. An easy fix - again, see Quasi's page

For your ACC unit, do a quick self-test - press the AUTO and VENT (top left / lower right buttons) at the same time. The system will do a self test and a recalibration.
