More awkward to reach than anything. I used a 6-3/8" long combination wrench with a 12 point box angled at about 15 degrees. Kobalt brand from Lowes. I have a nearly identical TRW wrench that is thicker, and the thin Kobalt really worked better there.
I know about jamming two nuts together in order the remove the 3rd nut. I was thinking about doing this in order to fully seat the stud. I've read at other posts that the stud must be threaded all the way in. I could just thread in and tighten the stud/nut, but I'm not sure how I would know that the stud is fully seated.
