After vaccum the shop put in a peach colored oil about 8 to 10 oz in one of the port on the back of the compressor. Robert, it may well be mineral oil. I did not ask.
For those who want to put in a "stop-leak" kind of product, you have to do under vaccum BEFORE filling up the system.
Temperature question:
During the filling of the system, The lowest temp I saw was around 43 deg F
with the car stationary and the engine revved to 2000 rpm
How cool is a good working A/C system when set to LO for:
-stuck in traffic (when needed most)
-cruising at 100km/h
TIA!!
