Since you still had some oil in there, it is most likely that no damage was done. If you were using a good synthetic oil, it is almost certain that no damage was done.
After 1000 miles, take an oil sample and have it analyzed. That should let you know if there is any extreme wear going on.
Sorry, can't help with the oil cooler replacement part.
