Kevin, Sorry, but I think you misunderstood me. The "nice car" statement: I get a lot of "nice cars" refers to the comments that I recieve about my 72 99,NOT that I have a lot of "nice cars". Also, your assumption that I am into American classics is not correct. I especially appreciate European autos & cycles such as SAAB,MG,BMW. Your '72 99 SAAB Special Edition sounds like a "nice car". What exactly is a Special Edition? I definately agree with you about the 99 being advanced for its time. In the early 70's vehicles with front wheel drive, fuel injection,4-wheel discs, heated orthopedic seats, rear floor heat, rear and side window defrosters, and folding rear seat backs were not commonplace features. How do I view Karls' 99 tip pages? I will attempt to attend the SAAB Car Day in Brookline. Maybe we could meet each other there. I sure would like to see a 99 Club.
Regards,Jon
