I probably should have done the same with my '95 900S before they changed the car donation rules. Now I understand you can only claim the amount the charity gets for the vehicle, usually not much.
Of course keeping the 900S let the 9-5 rest in the garage on those really messy, snowy, gravel chipping days here in Colorado.
