Would you use a free oil change even if...?

...even if you weren't getting what you would put in yourself? Saab sent us a promotion to get a free oil/filter change at the dealer, but I suspect the US-spec oil is not as good as the Euro-spec (Swedish-spec?) oil.
Saab TSB #00-07-210 (July '00) lists the "Recommended Oil Grades" as:
Saab High Performance Turbo Oil 0W-40 Fully synthetic, &
Saab Turbo Oil 5W-30 Semi-synthetic,
along with "Recommended oils fulfill API SH/SJ and ACEA A3/B3-98 requirements."
All three dealers in my area only have access to the 5W-30 semi-syn, saying there is no US x-ref for the 0W-40 Swedish part number (& so they can't even get it here). Even though the 5W-30 is ACEA A3-96/B3 rated (so it meets the high performance &/or extended drain specs), I was planning on using M1 0W-40 at my next change 'cuz it's "what the Swede's use" for mechanical longevity & not some concession to CAFE numbers juggling.
And then I got the freebie card. (I don't think I'm cheap enough to use it, but then again...)
Would anyone currently using what they feel to be a superior-than-OEM oil & filter be pursuaded to switch if they offered it free?
