Hi Greg.
I'm in Denmark.
As I mention, ALL Saabs leaving the factory is filled with a full synthetic 0W-40 oil. If you want proof, I can easily find the post from Dr. Boost, who's actually working at the factory.
I bought my '91 9000 CS 2.3 with 130,000 miles on the odo. It has now run 170,000 miles. I instantly started using Mobil 1 0W-40 on the car, after I bought it. this without knowing anything about what the previous owner used. The car uses ZERO oil inbetween oilchanges - this also supplies to long trips. I drive around 10,000 miles inbetween changes.
Cheers!
