Besides the dealer, where can I find a Tech II? I also forgot to mention that the DI was replaced at 65,000 miles, so I would like to think I could rule that out.
As for vacuum leaks, how many hoses are we talking about and how would I see a leak, i.e. would there be a visible crack? I know that the dealer also replaced with DI, a vacuum hose and PCV valve? I am not sure what all of this adds up to, but none of this was done recently (it was done 2 months ago). The only thing done recently to the car was the new battery and rear brakes. As for the IAC, if this were faulty, would the issue only be noticeable at idle, i.e. not when car is in motion?
You are correct that this is difficult to diagnose, especially when turning the car off seemed to get rid of the problem - at least for the time being, which is what lead me to think about a misfire.
Any additional thoughts? I appreciate it!
