I see the problem as not getting a box and a snub by the service manager.
I would not fight over such a problem because some people are very unethical and would try to harm your car or drag their feet when you want an appointment.
The chance of that part failing over the next 2 weeks is almost nil. So try and find yourself a box during the next 2 weeks. You can probably pack it with bubble wrap much better than any mix and matched box that the dealer had.
Save your anger and fight for more substantial warranty issues, etc.
