Dean,
I also have a similar problem. The rough idle problem has resurfaced again where the cars starts first time then starts to cut out or you need to keep the rev's high until it settles down.
The car has been back to the Saab dealer 4-5 times in the last two months and it's on the it's third set of spark plugs. It seems that the spark plugs get soiled every 400 miles which is very strange
Is this a common problem?? Do Saab recommend using BCPR6ES11 or 7ES plugs?? Once the spark plugs get changed the problem resurfaces again only after 350 miles. The check engine light has not come back on yet.
Is it just a problem with the plugs or also the DIC? I'm surprised that a 2002 Saab 9-3 SE with 50,000 miles should give this much trouble. I only use mid grade and high grade gas for the car. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks
