Geico will not deal with anyone when it comes to these types of issues. Makes no difference how great you kept the condition of your car, insurance companies plug numbers in and that is what you get. Another insurance co. wanted to total another car I had and the only way they didn't was because the adjuster worked with the body shop.
What you could do is take the money and buy the car back from the insurance company. Then find another shop to fix for cheaper. What I would do is cut bait, take the money and say good bye to car. But it's easy for me to say that.
