Yeah it would be much easier to just take the whole thing off. If you go with the poly you will have to do both sides, of course. But it's still only 8 bolts. Don't forget the sway bar ends :)
1 floor jack
2 jack stands with shims
tire iron
16 mm socket *
#32 torx* (the kind to put on a 3/8 driver)
14mm wrench*
13mm wrench*
1 Dead blow mallet for balljoints
about 4 hours
I would get new swaybar ends, ball joint boots too. Cheap enough. You can get out of this for
under $200 easy.
*memory could be off on the sizes.
